The corporation was founded by five community members who collaborated to form an organization that would be distinctive and unprecedented in its approach to children’s development.  In less than one year, they organized a board of directors, achieved 501 (c)(3) income tax status with the IRS, secured a rural location east of El Dorado, Arkansas, and opened for business on June 5, 2006, providing therapeutic and support services to children with disabilities and their families.
